Friends of Mossley Park

Friends of Mossley Park Community group improving and promoting Mossley Park use and events We currently have over a hundred members. We welcome new members.

We are a constituted group of like-minded local people who want to make a difference in their local community by improving their local Park. The group was set up in 2008, with help from Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council through the Mossley and Stalybridge North East District Assembly, who are responsible for the park. We aim to promote the use, enjoyment of and respect for Mossley Park and to

improve it for local people and wildlife. To achieve our aims we hold great family focussed events like 'Picnic in the Park', 'It's a Knock Out' and family bowling days. We also run monthly gardening parties to help clean up and improve the park which are held for two hours (10am to 12pm, meeting a Mossley Hall, off Stamford Road) on the last Wednesday and Saturday of the month. We have regular meetings where the public can attend. If you would like to get involved, just ask to join our page.
