Dartmoor Log Bank

Dartmoor Log Bank Due to reduced demand and a lack of donated firewood, unfortunatey we will not be operating the log bank in 2025/26. They are a mix of hardwood and softwood.

We would like to thank everyone for their support over the past 3 winters. The Dartmoor Log Bank prioritises areas of deprivation in Dartmoor national park, and the East Cornwall area around the Tamar Valley. You do not need a referral if:

• you have no income (e.g., you are waiting for a benefit claim to start)
• you have a food or fuel bank voucher. If you do not have a food bank or fuel bank

voucher you need to ask for a referral. You can ask for a referral from:

• your GP
• a healthcare professional
• a social worker
• a school
• from Citizen’s Advice.
• a food bank, or
• a fuel bank. We supply 2 1/8th of a cubic meter of air dried split logs. There is no limit to the number of times you can access the log bank.
