Running Deer’s Intervention Service is tailored to support young people’s needs and personal development. This includes improving self-esteem, confidence and communication, social and emotional wellbeing as well as supporting young people to process traumatic events in their lives.

Running Deer SEND Consultancy is up and running!
Following our introduction to Running Deer SEND Consultancy, we’re delighted to share that the service is now officially up and running — and we’re really looking forward to connecting with families, schools and home education communities.
Running Deer SEND Consultancy has been created to offer practical, individualised SEND support, recognising that every child, family and setting is different.
Sometimes you need advice, sometimes you need help making sense of the options available, and sometimes you simply need someone experienced in your corner to help you find a way forward.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the specific support available for different people and settings, including:
🏫 For schools – support for staff, settings and inclusive practice.
👨‍👩‍👧 For families – practical guidance and support around SEND needs, education and navigating the wider system.
🏡 For home-educating families and children – individualised support designed around the child or young person and their unique educational journey.
We’ll be exploring each of these areas in more detail in upcoming posts, so if one of these sounds relevant to you, keep an eye on the page! 👀

Running Deer School is looking for Learning Facilitators to join our team in our stunning woodland setting in Moretonhampstead.
This isn't your typical classroom role – you'll be delivering project-based learning outdoors, supporting students 1:1 and in small groups with activities like bushcraft, traditional skills, and animal care.
