The power of connection: beat the January blues with a visit to your Family Hubs ☕

January is a difficult month for many. The midwinter festivities are over, and the new year often brings financial worries that can leave parents and carers feeling low and isolated.

Often, just talking to someone in the same situation can help. Wirral’s Family Hubs offer a variety of regular events for parents to connect with others, such as coffee mornings, peer support, stay and play sessions, dad’s groups and much more. As well as getting to know other parents, the hubs are also a place to find practical help all under one roof. You can seek advice from organisations such as Citizens Advice and experts in health, child development and children with additional needs.

Do you have a heart for sharing the Gospel with young people?
The Diocese of Shrewsbury Youth Mission Team is looking for a Youth Mission Team Member to work in parishes and schools across the Diocese.

This role includes youth retreats, Confirmation support, pilgrimages (including Lourdes), and helping develop our digital and online mission.

📍 Based in Stockport (travel across the Diocese)
⏰ Full-time: 35 hours (including evenings & weekends)
