📢 Big Shoutout and Heartfelt Thanks to Mighalls Removals & Storage! 📢

As we prepare to say farewell to Wirral Development Trust, we’re incredibly grateful to Mighalls Removals & Storage for their outstanding support in our closing efforts. They’ve gone above and beyond, carefully relocating furniture donated by the Trust to the community centre—keeping these valuable resources available for Leasowe’s residents.

Their professionalism, efficiency, and friendly team have made the entire process smooth and worry-free. If you need a reliable, community-minded moving service, we highly recommend Mighalls! Give them a call for your moving or storage needs—they’re fantastic! 👏

Dear friends, and members of the Leasowe community,

Today, we acknowledge not just to mark an end but to celebrate 24 years of shared dedication, support, and community spirit that is Wirral Development Trust.

Over these two-and-a-half decades, we have worked side by side with the wonderful people of Leasowe, helping thousands to gain essential skills, find jobs, and believe in their potential. And, as we look back on these years, our hearts are filled with immense pride for the legacy we’ve been able to build together—a legacy that will live on in each life we’ve touched.

Wirral Development Trust has been so much more than an organization. It has been a partner, a guide, and a friend to those seeking a hand up or a fresh start. We have watched so many individuals grow, find strength, and take charge of their futures with newfound confidence, and it has been our privilege to be part of their journey.

None of this would have been possible without the support, trust, and love of this incredible community. You welcomed us, championed our mission, and believed in what we set out to achieve. It is your belief in us that gave us the strength to serve year after year.

As we prepare to close our doors, we do so with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will remain with us forever. We may be stepping back, but the legacy we leave—this sense of community, of growth, and of opportunity—will continue to thrive. We see it in the skills, the successes, and the enduring friendships that have come from this work.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives, for standing by us, and for letting us make a difference. Our deepest hope is that the spirit of Wirral Development Trust continues to inspire and uplift in ways we can only imagine.

Thank you, Leasowe. We will always be grateful for these years and for each one of you. Please feel free to share this post.
