Lakeland District Sea Cadets Trafalgar Parade 2026.

On this day in 1805, Admiral Lord Nelson led the Royal Navy to a historic victory over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar, securing Britain's naval supremacy.

Although victorious, the battle came at a great cost, with Admiral Nelson losing his life aboard HMS Victory.

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice and dedication of those who fought, and the proud naval traditions that continue to inspire generations of Sea Cadets.
