We are deeply saddened to hear that John Taylor passed away last weekend.
John was a long-standing member of the Shrimps Trust and one of our biggest advocates. Over the years, he gave so much of his time to supporting the Trust and Morecambe Football Club, from litter picking around the stadium on matchdays to helping with the legalities of our away travel.
John was always willing to help and was a great supporter of the work we do. Much of what he did was quietly and without seeking recognition, but his contribution was significant and hugely appreciated.
We are incredibly grateful for everything John did for the Trust and the club, and he will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts are with Barbara, Robin, John's family and all his friends at this very difficult time.
