Team Legless

Team Legless TEAM LEGLESS promotes motivation & determination, so anybody irrespective of how able-bodied they are, can still do challenges!

Without a doubt having the support of numerous charities, have had a major impact on the Rehab and lives of Stuart and his family. It is rightly so we should show our support by raising awareness and funds for these charities and this is where all money raised on this site will go too. This page isn’t all about Robbo and his horrific injuries, it is about showing EVERYONE how being “Less Abled” DO

ESN’T mean you can’t do things that an “Able” person can. This is why Robbo, Norm and Friends have set up a group called TEAM LEGLESS. TEAM LEGLESS is a group of serving members of the Armed forces, who attempt challenges and show with teamwork, motivation and determination, that anybody irrespective of their disability can still complete any challenge put in front of them. To give you an idea on what TEAM LEGLESS have planned over the next 24 months*
• Hand cycle 455 miles with 24 hours on 2 Hand cycles.
• Invictus Games – Robbo is hoping to represent TEAM GB again in Orlando.

While serving in the Afghanistan with 15 Sqn RAF Regiment in Feb 2013, Robbo’s vehicle hit a VIED outside Camp Bastion. Robbo suffered life threating injuries. He lost both legs, 1 above and 1 below the knee, numerous fractures of the Spine, Broken Jaw, damage to his left arm and serve internal bleeding. With his Wife Amy each day by his bedside at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Robbo started showing signs of improvement. After only a few months, Robbo was discharged from hospital to the care of the Military Rehab unit at Headley Court, where he has been ever since. All the charities have supported and helped Stuart and his family in different ways, from providing a walking stick to house adaptions to help Robbo move more easily around his family’s home. It would take to long to list every bit of help and support these charities have given, so please believe us when we say “He couldn’t have done it without their help and support”
If you can spare any change and help us to give something back, it will be much appreciated. These charities do change people’s lives. Please Donate using the “GIVE NOW” button
