Community Clean Up. 😊

Some of the team took advantage of the decent weather and enjoyed a community clean up at Montrose beachfront this morning. The skate park and car parks nearby were the worst we’ve seen for some time!! 😔

We hope to be back there soon. 👊

Out and about in the community. 😊

This evening we visited Craigo village hall and experienced an evening of mediumship with Lisa and the team from the White Feather Spiritual Group, Angus. 🪶

The White Feather group are a not for profit group and have been running for 8 years. They hold twice monthly meetings at Craigo village hall which are very popular and well attended.

Throughout the evening our team were treated to a healing demonstration, meditation session and a group tarot input. The whole experience was very interesting and enlightening. 👌

Huge thanks to Lisa, Emma, Mags, Ian and Lynn! All will be present at the Heart of the Soul, holistic and mystic fayre at the Park Hotel on Sunday 22 February. Catch them there!!

Out and about in the wider community . 😊

Big shout out to our fabulous hosts Fiona and Shirley at Toll House Spirits in Arbroath. A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all! 👏

During our visit, we learned about the history of the small family owned business, how it adapted during covid and the inspiration behind some of the products including the new Chilean Pisco range. We were also treated to a taster session and enjoyed sealing, waxing and labelling bottles of the exquisite ‘Kald’ - coffee rum liqueur. 😋

We were truly inspired by the resilience and dedication of the team and how they continuously overcome adversity and thrive in a very competitive market. We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to supporting them. Who knows, we may even look at a partnership project for the future??! 👌

Community Clean Up. 👌

‘Welcome to a brighter Montrose’

Some of the team took part in a community clean up throughout Montrose this morning.

We took advantage of the good weather and got busy helping with some pre spring cleaning.

The 4 ‘Welcome to Montrose’ road signs located on the main arterial routes into Montrose at Ferryden, Brechin Road, Corronation Avenue and Charleton Road were given a much needed spruce up!! Old stickers and bird excrement were among the items removed and the signs are looking much cleaner and welcoming now!! 👊 😃

Out and about in the community!

Our first outside visit of 2026 was thoroughly enjoyable!! Thanks again to Flight Lieutenant Smith and the team at 2288 Air Training Corps in Montrose. 😊

Unfortunately, the weather was too bad for us all to take part in drill on the parade square.😔 However, we were treated to a short indoor drill display by the air cadets - well done!!

We also enjoyed an in depth insight into the different aspects of training, rank structure, uniform, field craft and the role played by adult civilian volunteers and the fundraising team.

We observed a first aid training session being delivered aswell as a short simulated flight by cadet NCO’S (non commissioned officers).

We particularly enjoyed the team building exercise, beating the cadet teams. 😜

We gained a very good appreciation and understanding of our uniformed air cadets. The squadron meets on a Wednesday night between 18:00 and 21:30 at the training centre in Broomfield Road. If you would like to help out as an adult volunteer or a young person (12-17) interested in joining, get in touch. Pop down to the squadron or email -

Business and Planning Meeting.

Our first meeting of the New Year was a busy business and planning meeting at the Park Hotel. 🤔

The room was buzzing with energy and ideas.💡 Full agenda and many new projects and initiatives. We look forward to developing our new community engagement plans working alongside our Interact team, new members and corporate partners! 👊
