💙 The Saxon Room 💙

Churchstoke Village Hall Committee is proud to announce that our meeting room has been renamed the Saxon Room in memory of a much-loved friend, colleague and community champion, Lynn Saxon.

For many years, Lynn worked tirelessly behind the scenes for the Village Hall, giving countless hours of her time, energy and dedication. Her commitment to the hall and the wider community was unwavering, and she was a much-valued member of the community whose hard work and dedication were appreciated by so many.

At a time when the future of the Village Hall was uncertain, she played a pivotal role in helping to save it. Without her determination, perseverance and belief in what the hall meant to the community, we may well have lost this important village asset.

Renaming the room in her honour is a small way of recognising the enormous contribution she made, and ensuring that her legacy remains a lasting part of the hall she cared so deeply about.

Lynn is greatly missed, fondly remembered, and will always be an important part of the story of Churchstoke Village Hall. ❤️

🎶 A Midsummer Miscellany at Churchstoke Village Hall 🎻

Join us on Friday 10th July at 7:30pm for an uplifting evening of music performed by the Bishop’s Castle Orchestra.

From the timeless melodies of Handel to the unforgettable hits of The Beatles, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy in this family-friendly summer concert.

✨ Free entry – donations warmly welcomed in support of Churchstoke Village Hall.
