Congratulations to our volunteers 2026
The people we celebrate in our community project come from many different backgrounds and have contributed volunteering in a variety of ways. What they share of themselves makes a positive impact on the lives of others, helping to strengthen and enrich our community.
I am thrilled to share that we received two Awards 'Winner of Best Practice Award’ and ‘Volunteer Team of the Year 2026', These Awards were given from Flintshire Local Voluntary Council who work closely with us to gain high standards for our community project. On Friday evening Brian, Koki and Angie accepted the awards, on behalf of the Community Clubhouse and Gardens.
Our volunteers give hours of service and are a true inspiration. The monetary value of this volunteering is estimated at hundred thousand pounds your generosity is overwhelming – big thank you, and I am so proud you pay this forward to our community to make a difference.
It’s important to celebrate people’s achievements and service. Volunteering your time you give willingly is an invaluable contribution of our work, sharing of skills and life experience, makes a significant difference for our local community project and people’s lives. Once again Thank you

We have an interesting program for our Open Day next Saturday.
It is a hidden gem in the heart of Mold for the people and families of Mold and surrounding areas.

We will be exploring our creative skills with the support of our own Art hub group that meets here weekly, and we are
dedicated to ensuring that our community stay active, healthy, and socially connected. Come and enjoy this free event

We are holding an Open Day for our community Saturday 30th May from 11am am
'Bringing colour to outside the lines'

Creative art sessions here at the Community Clubhouse and Gardens are where open-ended art sessions, allow children with their families to explore materials freely without a predetermined outcome or step-by-step instructions.
These sessions offer critical developmental benefits, primarily emphasising the creative process over the final product. These opportunities are vital for fostering self-expression, boosting cognitive growth, and a myriad of developmental benefits. So, let’s embrace the mess, cherish the eccentricities, and celebrate the unique creations that emerge from our beautiful minds.

FREE EVENT We are holding Art sessions in the Garden for all the family and ages.
From 11am refreshments.

in the Clubhouse 1 - 2.20pm 2.30 – 4pm

Every week we hold our Community Art hub here on a Wednesday from 12.30pm our approach validates creativity and encourages the value your artistic voice.

We had some people which amazing creativity at our Easter workshops. Some young people did not want to go home ...they were enjoying themselves so much. We are looking to run another one in May half-term watch this space for our date and come along they are free events - we also made Easter cards and Spring wreaths

The wonderful world of our Community Gardens in March this year. So many people give generously of their time and talents to help make this place the best kept Community Garden in the heart of Mold. We have noivies and people with talents coming together and enjoying each other company over cups of tea. Why not come along and visit whenever you can. Tue and Thur 10 to 3pm

New 10.00-10.45am (Mum and Me sling dance fit class 4-12 months) and then 11.00-11.45pm (Mum and Me Dance sensory-ages walking-2years)

We are looking to start on Monday 20th April and then run on 27th April, 11th May, 18th May.

(No classes on the 4th May as it is the bank holiday and no classes on the 25th May due to the half term.)

Then after that I will put out a 7 week block running from 1st June-13th July (in line with school term time).
