because it’s the glorious autumn season, here are some fitting lines from Keats:

Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss’d cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For summer has o’er-brimm’d their clammy cells.

Wed 5 August Wednesday morning, we took inspiration from our local river, the river Alyn and the ponds of Wepre Park.

There was a buzz of creativity in the room as paints were mixed and applied to make a diorama. An environment for an aquatic creature and there were many creatures created. Soft, coloured clay, embellished with all sorts of bits and pieces - they looked fantastic!

Pebbles were beautiful painted and decorated.

And to finish a range of materials and papers to create a fish or newt collage.

We’re looking forward to next week. If you fancy joining us we still have a few spaces available.
