Last Saturday, we paused to honor and remember a true friend and past Club Captain, Andrew Edgar, who sadly and suddenly passed away earlier this year.
Members of the SRATF (Scottish Rugby Away Tours Forum) gathered at Moffat Golf Club to celebrate Andrew’s memory out on the course—a place where so many cherished memories, laughs, and great times were shared.
To mark the occasion, the SRATF Golf Circle presented Club Captain Phil with a very special commemorative bottle of wh**ky from a private cask that Andrew himself was part of, along with the inauguration of the Andrew Edgar Memorial Quaich. This will now be played for annually here at Moffat by the SRATF to keep his spirit alive on the fairways for years to come.
'Andrew Edgars Dram' will be on display in the clubhouse for all to see.
His memory will live on here at Moffat Golf Club for many years to come. 🥃
