🌊 Funding now open for coastal and rural communities! 🌿

We’re excited to announce the launch of two major funding opportunities designed to support and strengthen communities across Aberdeenshire - the Coastal Communities Challenge Fund (CCCF) and the Rural Communities Challenge Fund (RCCF).

Whether you’re a community group, charity, social enterprise or local organisation with a big idea, this could be your chance to make it happen.

🌊 Coastal Communities Challenge Fund (CCCF)

Grants of up to £49,999 are available to support projects along Aberdeenshire’s coastline that deliver real local impact. We’re looking for projects which will:

✔️ Improve active travel routes along and to the coast
✔️ Boost the coastal economy, jobs and sustainable tourism
✔️ Create or enhance community, leisure and recreational spaces
✔️ Protect and improve our coastal environment

🌿 Rural Communities Challenge Fund (RCCF)

Supporting projects right across rural Aberdeenshire with:

🔹 £10,000–£49,999 for capital projects
🔹 £5,000–£49,999 for revenue projects

Projects should help deliver:

✔️ Better connections within and between rural communities
✔️ A fairer Aberdeenshire where no one is left behind
✔️ A greener future through sustainability and net zero efforts

This is your opportunity to bring ideas to life, strengthen your community, and create lasting change. Find out more at https://www.aberdeenshire.gov.uk/news/
