🦮💩 Dog bins. Yes, really. We need your help.

Whitehouse has grown a lot - and some of our dog-bin locations haven’t quite kept up.

So rather than us sitting in a meeting guessing where new bins should go, we’d much rather ask the people who actually walk around Whitehouse every day.

📍 Use our interactive map to tell us where you think an additional dog bin would be useful.

It only takes a couple of moments: drop a pin on the map, tell us why that spot would help, and you’re done.

We’ll then look at the suggestions alongside practical things like land ownership, access for collections and how close the nearest existing bin is.

👉 Have your say here: http://mapsurvey.org/surveys/6374479f-478d-4452-adb9-5806cd653aee/

Please share this with your fellow dog walkers too — the more paws on the ground, the better the picture we get. 🐾

✅ **TOMORROW’S WHITEHOUSE PLAY SESSION IS STILL GOING AHEAD!** ✅

Despite the heartbreaking theft of MKPA’s van and equipment, we are pleased to confirm that tomorrow’s play session at **Lady Margery’s Gorse Park** will still take place as planned.

📅 **Thursday 20 August**
⏰ **1:30pm–3:30pm**
📍 **Lady Margery’s Gorse Park**

Sadly, today’s sessions at Westcroft Pavilion and Medbourne Pavilion have been unable to go ahead. As a children’s charity, the theft has had a devastating impact on MKPA during its busiest time of year.

Their team is working incredibly hard to keep as many sessions running as possible. We look forward to seeing lots of children and families tomorrow for an afternoon of free play and fun! 🌳🤸‍♀️☀️

Please share so that local families know the Whitehouse session is still going ahead.

🌞 FREE Summer Fun Sessions! 🌞

I popped along to today’s MKPA session at Lady Margery’s Gorse Park, and it was great to see so many children having fun!

There was a bouncy castle, climbing over the play van, a climbing wall, axe throwing, den building and supervised hammering and woodwork. 🏰🧗🪓🔨

If you missed today, there are three more sessions:

📅 Thursday 13th, 20th and 27th August
⏰ 1:30pm–3:30pm
📍 Lady Margery’s Gorse Park

The sessions are run by MKPA, sponsored by Whitehouse Community Council and completely FREE to attend! 😊

🏀 Great to pop down to Whitehouse Park MUGA today to see the 5onit Basketball sessions in action!

It was brilliant to see so many children and young people enjoying themselves, developing their basketball skills, staying active and making the most of our fantastic community facilities.

A huge well done to the 5onit coaches and everyone who took part today. 👏

Whitehouse Community Council is proud to support activities that encourage young people to get outdoors, be active and have fun in a safe, positive environment.

If you've not been before, why not come along and give it a try? 🏀
