📢 Calling all parents and parents to be!

Did you know that today 24th September 2025 marks National Fitness Day and this year the theme is ‘Powered By You’. Our Walk & Talk Events are powered by our great volunteers and could not continue without your regular support. They are free to attend and the perfect way to get out and enjoy the fresh air, whilst improving your all-round health and fitness at the same time.

What is an NCT Walk & Talk? It's simple! It's a relaxed, informal gathering where parents, parents-to-be, and carers can meet up for a walk, chat, and connect. It's a fantastic way to:

Get some gentle exercise – perfect for new parents!

Meet other local parents and build your support network.

Share experiences and advice in a relaxed setting.

Boost your mood with fresh air and good company.

Show your little one the world from their buggy or sling!

Why host one? You don't need to be an NCT member or have participated in an NCT antenatal course! Simply choose a date, time, and a buggy-friendly route in your local area, and invite others to join you. It's a wonderful way to bring your community together and help combat loneliness that can sometimes affect new parents.

Ready to host or join? ✨ It's easy! visit our website to see if there's one happening near you, or even better, why not set one up yourself? We can help you promote it!

A very promising step towards getting relief for those of us who suffer from hyperemesis during pregnancy.

Although the article talks about vomiting multiple times a day, please remember that debilitating nausea to the point of being unable to eat is also symptomatic of hyperemesis.

If you, or anyone you know, is suffering from this kind of dangerous “morning sickness”, please don’t be afraid to seek help. It is vital that you eat and drink when you are pregnant.

Better treatments and even a cure for hyperemesis gravidarum could be on the horizon, researchers say.
