Hi everyone, we are very pleased to announce that the Co-op have chosen DAFS to be part of their Local Community Funding for 26/27. This will be the fourth time we have been chosen so we are very humbled that they feel our service is a worthy community cause.
This means that for everybody who chooses DAFS as their local cause, they help us to raise funds. You may already be a lifetime member but each October you need to renew the cause you would like to support….we are now on that list.
If you are not already a Co-op member, it’s only £1 for lifetime membership and each week you can choose 2 offers you can use against your shopping (e.g £1 off) so even if you’re just nipping into your local co-op for a pint of milk, you are helping our community. What’s more, your membership is valid at any Co-op store across the UK, not just locally.
It would be great if you would share this post with family/friends and colleagues as the more members that sign up and choose DAFS, the more funding is raised, and we want to use the funding raised to organise a special day of connection for all our beneficiaries in autumn 2027.
