Conniburrow Community Fridge

A huge thank you to Milton Keynes Community Foundation for generously awarding us a £1,000 grant towards the food we buy in for our community fridge! 💚

This amazing contribution will help us purchase almost two tonnes of food, which we'll be distributing to our customers over the next two months.

We're incredibly grateful for this support, which helps us continue to get good food out into our community and make a real difference to local people.

Thank you from all our volunteers and customers! ! 💚

After a two month trial and asking everyone what they prefer, it looks like using a tickets system doesn't work for our fridge. Starting on Wednesday 7th October we will go back to our old queue system. We know if you're worried about food you'll want to come and queue early. Please don't waste your time. If you queue four hours before we open or ten minutes before we open, you will be fed. Thank you 💚❤️

Also please remember we are all volunteers. You may have liked the ticket system. More people didn't like it. You are allowed to be frustrated but don't take it out on our volunteers 💚

Volunteer. Give Back. Transform Lives.

Every surplus meal saved has the power to change a life.

At SOFEA, in partnership with Felix, our volunteers help rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute it to those who need it most.

Whether you have a few hours a week or more time to give, your contribution can help tackle inequality, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for young people.

A massive thank you to Bradwell Parish Council who have given us a grant to cover our Sustainable MK food for the whole of 2026. Sustainable MK provides the bulk of the fruit, veg and bread we give out, so to have that secured for the whole year is incredible 💚💚
