Acorn Early Years Foundation, is a social enterprise with charitable status, providing early years education and childcare in Milton Keynes, Northants and Bedfordshire. We have 17 nurseries across three counties, several out-of-school clubs, extensive forest school provision, a catering service and a training centre. We specialise in outdoor play and learning, the use of natural resources, healthy food, and an emphasis on the professional development for early years practitioners.

On 15th June 2025, bring your little ones along for a morning full of outdoor adventure, creativity and discovery. From bug hunting 🐞 to nature crafts 🎨, there’s so much for curious young minds to explore.

We’ve been carefully watering and looking after our strawberries in the garden, checking each day to see if they’re ready to be picked… and maybe even enjoyed at snack time!
There’s nothing quite like growing your own food and watching it develop. A lovely way to learn patience, care, and where our food comes from ❤️
