Tomorrow is the FOTP Pop Up Seasonal Plant Shop for Mother's Day!

All children will visit the Plant Shop during the morning.

Thank you to everyone who have reserved a plant at the Mother’s Day shop - please remember to bring in your money to buy your plants tomorrow – these are £3.50 each.

We have ordered a few extra plants for any children who haven’t pre-reserved - these are £3.50 each.

We look forward to welcoming the children tomorrow to the FOTP Pop Up Seasonal Plant Shop.

Introducing the FOTP Pop Up Seasonal Plant Shop for Mother's Day!

We have an exciting new event for Tickford Park this year on Friday 13th March to celebrate Mother's Day. We are inviting all children to have the opportunity to come to the Pop Up Seasonal Plant Shop to buy a potted plant for their Mum or a special lady in their lives.

These personalised plants will be priced at £3.50 and we will order in the number of plants requested directly from Alban Hill Nurseries who are helping us with this event.

Please use the Google Form below to let us know your child’s name, class, and how many potted plants are required. We are not taking payment now, so please do send the money in with your child on the day.

If you have multiple children across the school, please submit the form once per child and we will ensure their plant is allocated to their class when they come to the shop.

📣 Reminder: Friends of Tickford Park AGM – Thursday 25th September at 18:30 📣

We’d love to see as many parents as possible at our AGM next week. It’s a chance to hear what we’ve been up to, share your ideas, and find out how you can get involved.

We are especially looking for new committee members to join us. ✨ Don’t worry – stepping into a role doesn’t mean signing your life away or being expected to run every single event by yourself! You only commit to as much as you are able, and even small contributions really do make a huge difference.

Right now, the current committee can only keep things running on a very minimal schedule. With more hands, we could do so much more for the school and the children. 🏫💙

So, if you’ve ever thought about helping out or simply want to see how it all works, please come along. Your support matters – together we can keep making great things happen for our children! 🌟

📢 We Need YOU! FOTP AGM & New Committee Members Needed! 📢

What an amazing year 2024/25 it's been for Friends of Tickford Park (FOTP), you've helped us raise a fantastic £8,380; funding everything from Forest School and Author Visits to Sports Day ice lollies and new DT ovens!
But here's the thing: all that fun and all those vital funds don't happen by magic! They're the result of the wonderful committee members and volunteers who make the events happen.

We're inviting all parents, carers, and friends of the school to our AGM on Thursday 25th September 2025 at 6:30pm in the school conservatory.

This year's AGM is particularly crucial, as most of our current committee members will be stepping down. This means it's absolutely vital that new parents, carers, and friends step up to take on committee roles and help us run our fantastic fundraising events for next school year.

While the official roles of Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary are key, the main aspect of all these roles and any committee members, is to actually organise and run the fun events that raise funds and create those special, lasting memories for our children – think school discos, summer and Christmas fayres, cake sales!
Without enough volunteers to help plan and run these events, our children will miss out on the fun. For FOTP to continue its valuable work, we urgently need new committee members to come forward.

If you have some time and enthusiasm to spare, please come along to the AGM to find out more. It’s a chance to meet other parents, use your skills, and ensure our children continue to enjoy these fantastic experiences.

Thank you for everyone that has volunteered so far, we now only have a few slots to fill, we are desperate for cover from 1630-1730 to cover the uniform stall and spin the wheel. Also if anyone can spare 30mins to help clear up that would be much appreciated
