🦆 2026 WESTMORLAND COUNTY SHOW – WWA RAFFLE DRAW 🦆

A fantastic finish to our 2026 Westmorland County Show raffle, with the winning tickets drawn by our very own WWA President, Suzi Bunting, alongside BASC Northern Regional Director, Duncan Thomas and of course our master number generator Gavin Howe who works tremendously hard.

A massive thank you to everyone who bought tickets, supported the raffle and came over to see us during the show. Your support really does make a difference.

Every penny raised goes towards supporting our Young Shots. These funds help Westmorland Wildfowlers Association provide special days, experiences and opportunities not only for our own youngsters, but also for young members from other wildfowling associations across the North West.

It's all about giving the next generation the opportunity to get involved, learn from experienced wildfowlers and enjoy the countryside and our sport in the right way. 🦆

A huge thank you once again to everyone who supported us, to Suzi and Duncan for doing the draw, and to BASC for having us at the show.

Congratulations to our lucky winners! 🏆

A massive thank you to everyone (members and non members) that came and took part in the annual clay shoot today.
My apologies but as per usual, I didn’t get a great number of photos for the day.
The weather was great and it was great to catch up with people.

Thanks needs to go to the people that helped on the day. Dave Higgins for manning the BBQ and Spencer for tying up all the loose ends.
Big thank you once again to Foxholes Country Pursuits for their kind donation for first prize and continuing support. Thank you to Countrystyle Meats for supplying the burgers (very last minute) and finally a huge thank you to the guys Crabtree Clay Shoot for hosting and the help from their team on the day.

Thanks needs you to those that provided raffle prizes including dropping off some BASC goodies.

Please continue to support these people, without them the day isn’t the same.

Here’s to next year. Let’s hope the weather is as good as next time.

The annual WWA clay shoot is approaching.

11.30 at Crabtree Clay Shoot

We had another great turn out last year and the weather held out so hope to see you all again this year.

The committee is sourcing some prizes for the raffle this year, so hopefully we should have some good raffle prizes.
All profits go towards prize money and to the club to keep things like this going.

50 clay comp £20
Raffle tickets will be £5 a strip in the day.
BBQ will be there serving burgers once you’ve done your round.

Prizes available for the winners of each category

Everyone welcome. Open to members and non members so spread the word. The more the merrier and a good chance to catch up.

Feel free to get there early and get a practice round in or stay on after and brush up on those misses 😜
Show some support for the clay ground. They have been fantastic supporting our club in these days, so it would be great to return the favour.
