A proud moment today — knowing that we are doing everything correctly in our Community Shop.
Even though technically we do not need to have or display a Food Hygiene Rating, due to only having our weekly veg donation from Growing Well, our very much appreciated donations from WOW V**e, and various cans of pop, the lovely lady who visited and inspected us was extremely happy with how we ensure everything is handled properly, safely, and cleanly.
So, with that, she said she was more than happy to award us a Level 5 rating.
Yet again, we have proved that we do not take things lightly, and that our core values of supporting our community remain at the heart of everything we do — even if many people never see just how many we continue to support quietly behind the scenes.

We’ve just received our latest delivery from Growing Well, and it’s full of lovely fresh goodies:

Everything is just 30p each – a great way to pick up fresh, healthy produce at a really affordable price 💚

Once again, we’re reaching out to our incredible supporters and followers for help with a client in real need.
Due to a marital break-up, through absolutely no fault of their own, they are having to start again — all while facing some serious health challenges. It’s a tough situation, and we’d really love to help ease things, with your support.

✨ Items Needed: ✨

🍲A Slow Cooker (in Good Clean order) We will take care of PAT Testing
🛏️ Received - Single mattress

🛌 Received - Single duvet sets x2 (Very Kindly Purchased by a local donor)
🧸 Received - Single quilts x2 (Very Generously donated by a local business)
💤 Received - 3 pillows (Very Generously donated by a local business.

🪑 White bedroom furniture, if possible, but any colour will suffice suitable for almost teenagers. 😉
(e.g. drawers, bedside cabinets)
