Good Enough Start Good Enough Start is a parent-infant relationship service for all infants in the first 1001 days of life, open to all Millom Families.

When babies see adults pointing to the printed words, they begin to understand that those marks on the page carry meaning. It's an early step towards understanding how reading works.

You don't need to turn story time into a lesson. Simply run your finger under a sentence now and then, point to the title, or say, "This word says cat." Small moments like these help your baby notice that words matter.
