Artistic Licence, a pembrokeshire based non-proffesional theatre rep, was founded in 2010 by Carol Mackintosh, Trisha Biffen and Marcus Lewis to present a varied programme of musical theatre, classical and contemporary drama which challenged and encouraged local talent. As we begin to pack down our production of Noises Off, we want to say the biggest, most heartfelt thank you.

To every audience member who came along and laughed with us, supported us, shared kind words and filled the theatre with so much warmth - you made this production such a joy to perform. Your energy and encouragement has meant the world to us all!

To the wonderful team at the Torch Theatre - thank you for championing community theatre, for welcoming us so generously, and for everything you do to support creativity across Pembrokeshire.

And to our extraordinary cast, backstage team and creatives - your hard work, commitment, talent and teamwork brought one of the most demanding comedies ever written to life. What an achievement, and what a privilege to work alongside you all.

This show was built on laughter, collaboration and community, and we are so grateful to everyone who was a part of it. Here’s to live theatre, shared stories, and many more moments like these. Diolch! ❤️

1,000 tickets sold - with 500 audience members joining us for Noises Off today alone.

We’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who has come along to support Artistic Licence and live theatre at the Torch Theatre - your laughter and encouragement have meant the world.

As we close the curtain on Noises Off, we want to shine a very special spotlight on the people who made this production possible behind the scenes.

From the extraordinary two-storey set (front and back!), to the beautifully detailed costumes, ingenious props, lighting, sound, stage management and countless unseen moments of problem-solving - this show simply could not have happened without you.

In a farce like Noises Off, the set isn’t just scenery. It’s a character in its own right. Every door slam, every entrance, every perfectly timed mishap depends on precision, teamwork and incredible technical skill.

The love we’ve seen from audiences for the design, the craftsmanship and the seamless running of this show is a direct reflection of the incredible hard work of these people.

Thank you for your time, your talent, your patience and your commitment - and for bringing such ambition to life on the stage of the Torch Theatre.

No marketing, schmarketing - this curtain call says it all.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for opening night of Noises Off last night. We absolutely loved performing this brilliant comedy for such a wonderful audience.

The cast are currently resting (and recovering!) before doing it all again tonight, and twice on Saturday.

If you can join us, we’d love to see you there. And to Pembrokeshire audiences - thank you for always supporting local theatre. It’s a joy to perform for you!
