Who else watches Hunted on Channel 4?
The brand-new series starting on 12th October has been produced by one of our very own leaders at the 43rd Middlesbrough – Cameron Harris!

Cameron began his journey with us as a Beaver, continued all the way through to Explorers, and after completing his degree at York University, moved to London to pursue a career in TV. Since then, he’s worked on a variety of shows and has now risen through the ranks to become Producer of this series of Hunted.

We couldn’t be prouder – well done Cameron! Everyone at the 43rd Middlesbrough and across the district is celebrating your achievement. 👏🎉

This evening a very special award was presented within the District to Les Bland out District Chairman and assistant Scout leader at the 27th. Les has given over 50 years service to scouting and has held many roles within Middlesbrough District, Cleveland and North Yorkshire counties during this time.

On behalf of the whole District I would like to congratulate Les on receiving his Silver Woolf, he joins a very small group of now 4 within Cleveland County.

What another fantastic year 2024 has been for Scouting in Middlesbrough!

Together this year we have celebrated the 50th Birthday of the county, We welcomed Dwayne Fields as our new Chief Scout. Leo Armstrong from our District joined others from around the UK at the official announcement in London, and we say thank you to Bear Grylls for everything he has done over years to promote scouting.

Whatever events or activities you’ve done this year with your Section, Group or joint event, I’m sure you will have created some memories that will last forever.

Our 2024 Census is just around the corner and looking at the figures we should have fantastic growth across all sections. This is down to everyone’s hard work and offering fantastic scouting to the young people of Middlesbrough. Thank you
