🌟 HUB HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK! 🌟

Another fantastic week at KFCYF Youth Hub Middlesbrough! ❤️🖤 Here’s a look at what our young people have been getting up to!

🎸 Uprising – Music & Creativity 🎶
Our young people explored different musical instruments, including ukuleles, bongos and drums, while learning to play songs and develop new skills. A brilliant session for building confidence, expressing creativity and enjoying music together!

👧 Girls Rising – Escape Game & Bracket Making 🧩
The girls took on an exciting escape game featuring seven puzzles, each with a challenge to complete before moving on to the next! They worked together to solve the puzzles before finishing the session outdoors with some bracket-making fun. A great way to build teamwork, resilience and self-confidence! 💪✨

⚽ Open Access Youth Club 🎨
Our young people enjoyed a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, from football and sports to arts and crafts. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, building positive friendships and discovering activities they enjoy! 🖍️🤝

🏃 Thursday Energy – Games, Sports & Street Dance 💃
Energy was full of fun, with the young people taking part in icebreaker games, including Splat, alongside sports and street dance! There were plenty of opportunities to get active, try something new, meet others and build confidence through movement and teamwork. 🔥🙌

A huge well done to all our young people for getting involved and making each session their own! ❤️

🌍❤️ WORLD FOOD DAY | 16TH OCTOBER ❤️🌍

At KFC Youth Foundation, we’re proud to support this year’s World Food Day theme: “Innovate Today. Nourish Tomorrow.” 🌱🍎

We believe everyone deserves access to food, support and a welcoming community. That’s why we’re excited to be opening our Connected Communities Café and Pantry at our Middlesbrough Youth Hub! ☕🥫

🥰 Our café will offer a welcoming space to enjoy homemade cake and a cuppa, meet friends and connect with others in the community.

🛒 Our Eco Pantry will help local people access fresh food and cupboard essentials, with 5 items available for just £1.

By bringing people together, helping make food more accessible and creating a space where everyone feels welcome, we’re proud to play our part in supporting the message behind World Food Day. ❤️

📅 Friday 23rd October | 11am–1pm
