The Community Hub at Newport

Our Community Development officer Samia was at the Food Bank at Central Masjid this morning, did you know they run a weekly food bank to supporting local people who may be finding things a little difficult at the moment.
With the cost of living continuing to rise, more families and individuals are turning to food banks for help. A small act of kindness can make a huge difference to someone in our community.

This recognition is so well deserved and reflects Samia's dedication, passion and commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

We are collecting warm clothing for those in our community who are in need. Last year many of our residents and schools collected for us and dropped bags of warm clothing at Newport Hub. There are other collection points too - one of which is The Dorman Museum. For those in need this winter, if you have any warm clothing like jumpers, coats, hats and gloves, which you no longer need, please drop them off with us over the next two weeks and they will be made available to those in need this winter.
Thanks for your kindness and support.

What can we say, our trip to Blackpool was AMAZING! Thanks to everyone for coming along with us. It was a fun packed day and the weather was kind.
We enjoy offering our residents, across Middlesbrough North, opportunities to visit new places.
We promote these opportunities through our social media and local schools.
