We were honoured to have Steel Sisters Choir performing for us at our Wave of Light Service. They really have become a beautiful part of our annual service and we are so grateful to them for giving up their time to support us.

Tonight was our Wave of Light service and we welcomed lots of local families. Our new venue was a great success. We hope everyone who attended took comfort from having time and space dedicated to their babies.

We would like to say a huge thank you to: Karen Marshall-Falland, the staff at Acklam Cemetery, Co-op Funeral Care Middlesbrough, Steel Sisters Choir and the Coffee Bean Machine, who all helped to make the evening a success.

💗💙 BABY LOSS AWARENESS WEEK | THE RIBBON WALL 💙💗

There is still time to add your baby's name to the Ribbon Wall before tonight's Wave of Light at 7pm. 🕯️

Every ribbon represents a precious little life, a family’s love, and a baby who will never be forgotten. Each name matters, and every baby deserves to be remembered. 💕

✨ The Ribbon Wall will be illuminated tonight at 7pm for the Wave of Light, joining families and communities around the world as we remember all the babies gone too soon.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to add your baby's ribbon, there is still time to make their name part of this special tribute.

And if you can't make it tonight, please know that the wall will remain illuminated throughout the rest of October, giving families further opportunities to visit, reflect and remember their precious babies.

Tonight, at 7pm, wherever you are, we invite you to light a candle, pause for a moment, and remember the little lives that will forever hold a place in our hearts. 🕯️

We are all set for our Wave of Light service tomorrow and are looking forward to welcoming you to an evening where local bereaved families and friends can come together to let their babies lights shine. We hope to see you there!

St Bede’s Chapel, Teesside Crematorium.

The service begins at 6pm but please arrive a little earlier to give time to select a candle for your baby and to provide us with your baby’s name if you would like it to be read out during the service. We will head out to the baby garden to light the candles in time for the Wave of Light at 7pm.

We are pleased to share that The Coffee Bean Machine will be at the event to enable you to enjoy hot drinks, home made bakes and a selection of waters/flavoured waters, before and after the service. Cash and cards are accepted.

Ribbon Wall - Baby Loss Awareness Month

My Jacob’s name is on the ribbon wall. You can go any day in October and the Chapel of Remembrance is open from 9:30 am to 5pm to get your ribbon.

💙 Our monthly support meeting is this evening 💙

Tonight is our monthly Still Parents Teesside support meeting — a safe, welcoming space for anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby.

As we approach our Wave of Light service next week, this evening’s meeting will be our last opportunity to come together as a group beforehand. For some, this may be a time to talk, for others simply to sit with people who understand. There is no pressure to speak or share — just a supportive space where you don’t have to feel alone.

Add your baby’s name to light up our Baby Garden this October. 🕯️✨

Our ribbon display for Baby Loss Awareness Month is now set up at Acklam Cemetery. We warmly invite families to collect a ribbon from the Chapel of Remembrance, write your baby’s name or a special message, and attach it to the display in the Baby Garden.
The entire display is wrapped in fairy lights so every name will shine softly throughout the night.
