An amazing well done to Liz for winning an award at the BBC radio tees make a difference awards! Liz was nominated in the volunteer category for all the amazing work she does for our village hall, the ironstone pantry and our winter warm space! She was on the TV and radio! What a brilliant achievement, it couldn't have gone to better person! Thanks for everything you do for our village Liz. Well deserved 😊

🌟 Meet the Transport Members: Ironstone Pantry 💚 Lazenby Village Hall

This week we're shining a spotlight on Ironstone Pantry, based at Lazenby Village Hall. The pantry provides affordable food and essential items to local residents, helping to reduce food insecurity and support the community.

🚌 Recently, Ironstone Pantry used two of our minibuses for a trip to Kynren in County Durham, where members enjoyed the spectacular live outdoor show. Experiences like these provide opportunities for people to get out, socialise, and enjoy memorable days together. ✨

👏 A huge thank you to our two volunteer drivers, who generously gave up their time to make the trip possible. Our volunteer drivers play a vital role in helping local community groups access activities and events across the region, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support. 💚
