SU Trips 2026 2027 Expression of Interest

We propose bringing back SU Day Trips. Based on past popularity, we are proposing the following.

We need you to tell us you're interested by adding your name to the Count Me In List. To add your name to the list, purchase a free ticket.

We will advertise tickets for each trip nearer the time. We aim to keep the ticket price as low as possible they should be around £20.

Sat 3rd October 2026: 50-seater, leaving 7 AM from Middlesbrough (TS1 3BA) to Manchester (M1 2WD), leaving 6 PM.

Sat 31st October 2026 50-seater Leave 8 AM from Middlesbrough (TS1 3BA) to Whitby (YO21 1TH) leaving 6 PM.

Sat 5th December 2026 2 x 50-seater Leaving 7 AM from Middlesbrough (TS1 3BA) to Edinburgh (EH7 5BN) leave 6 PM.

Sat 20th March 2027 50-seater Leave 7 AM from Middlesbrough (TS1 3BA) to Liverpool (L1 1JW) leave 6 PM.

Sat 22nd May 2027 50-seater Leave 7 AM from Middlesbrough (TS1 3BA) to Blackpool (FY1 6JX) leave 6 PM.

If you have ideas for other destinations you can ley us know here.

We are also looking for trip leaders who will ensure the safety of students when boarding and returning to the coach for departure.

Trip leaders will get a free place. You will need to do a short training course. If you are interested in becomimg a trip leader get in touch here.

NB: You are not purchasing a ticket for the trips you are just showing your interest. Tickets will be released later, those on the list of interested students will get first chance of buying a ticket.

Please note the TUSU Activities and SU Student Support - SUSS teams will be unavailable over the bank holiday weekend, 3/4/26-6/4/26. We will reopen on Tuesday 7th April.
