💚Volunteers Week 💚

This Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating a group of people who make a huge difference here at ARCH, our wonderful counselling volunteers.

They show up week after week with a genuine commitment to supporting survivors. They bring their trust, their time, and a whole lot of skills into the therapy room, helping us reach more people who need support.

They might not shout about it, but their impact is huge and we're really lucky to have them as part of our team (and honestly, we think they’re pretty amazing).

A huge thank you to Vicky and the team at Wilkins and Stroud Hair & Beauty Superstore for your generous donation of self-care products, which helped us create beautiful goody bags for our Finding Steady Ground group 💚

As our very first group, this feels especially meaningful. The self-care bags were the perfect way to end the programme, offering each woman something tangible to take away as a reminder to continue caring for themselves beyond the sessions.

We’d also like to give a thank you to our incredible facilitators, Angie and Sarah, for their skill, and dedication in creating such a safe and supportive space.

And most importantly, thank you to the amazing women who trusted in the process. Your courage and openness made this group what it was.

On 29th April Arch Teesside attended the staff wellbeing event at Holme House Prison, represented by two members of our team Jo-Anne and Sarah.

We were pleased to engage with staff, offer information about our services, and contribute to an event dedicated to promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
