💚 Child Safety Week
Child safety isn’t just a conversation for professionals; it’s something all of us can be part of. This week, we’re asking everyone to take a moment to:
👀 Notice: changes in behaviour, withdrawal, fear, or things that don’t quite feel right
👂 Listen: take children and young people seriously when they speak
💬 Respond: create safe spaces where children feel believed
📣 Speak up: if you’re worried about a child, don’t ignore it
We support children and young people through specialist services, including ISVA support, talking therapy, play therapy, education sessions, and can also provide support for non-abusing parents and caregivers.
Every day, we see how powerful it is when a young person is listened to, believed, and supported.
You don’t need to have all the answers, but you can be someone who notices, listens, and helps keep children safe.
💚If you’re concerned about a child:
- In an emergency, always call 999
- NSPCC Helpline: 0808 800 5000
- Childline (for young people): 0800 1111
