At Linthorpe WI you will find a group of fun-loving, supportive, friendly women of all ages, who are more than willing to welcome you into the fold and introduce you to the delights of such things as outings, walks, meals, swims, interesting speakers (so far we haven't had "The History of the Tea Towel"!), games, chat and so much more.

A little reminder about tomorrow night’s meeting.

There is no speaker and it’s the AGM so the order of things will be different.

We’ll do the meeting business first then have coffee to be followed by the £1 auction so don’t forget to bring:

1. Your favourite poem
2. Items for the auction
3. Plenty of money to buy things with
4. Your mug

Don’t forget tickets are still available for International Day on Tuesday 29th September (details in Teesside Talkabout), the closing date has reverted back to the 18th September.

Calling all knitters it would appear that our baby hats are disappearing on little heads faster than we can get them off our needles.

If you would like to knit one they can be dropped off with Pam or Andrea who can take them to the neo natal ward.

If it’s too hot to get knitting then bringing them to the September meeting is also fine.

You have probably seen us in the newsletter but I thought it was worth a mention again because we all did so well collecting toiletries and Teesside Hospice were delighted with the donation from our WI.

I’m sure they will all be very gratefully used.
