At Linthorpe WI you will find a group of fun-loving, supportive, friendly women of all ages, who are more than willing to welcome you into the fold and introduce you to the delights of such things as outings, walks, meals, swims, interesting speakers (so far we haven't had "The History of the Tea Towel"!), games, chat and so much more.

Calling all knitters it would appear that our baby hats are disappearing on little heads faster than we can get them off our needles.

If you would like to knit one they can be dropped off with Pam or Andrea who can take them to the neo natal ward.

If it’s too hot to get knitting then bringing them to the September meeting is also fine.

You have probably seen us in the newsletter but I thought it was worth a mention again because we all did so well collecting toiletries and Teesside Hospice were delighted with the donation from our WI.

I’m sure they will all be very gratefully used.

A reminder it’s our walk tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd June. Meet in Sedgefield at 1.30 and we will walk to Hardwick Hall country park & finish with a nice cuppa in cafe 4.

It looks like our little Queens Canopy cherry tree in Linthorpe Cemetery has grown with the lovely weather. It even has a few cherries on it.

Hopefully we will be able to find out what has happened to the plaque but if not we shall find a replacement.
