Normanby Local History Group Local history The group aims to promote interest in the history of Normanby and to advance public education in the history of the area.

We meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month in the Methodist Church on Cleveland Street. Four or five of the group's meetings each year feature a guest speaker. Topics are varied but all have a local or historical slant. The group also organizes an annual exhibition in July.
