Thanks to a generous grant from the Football Foundation - funded by Premier League, The FA, and Department for Culture, Media and Sport - and match-funded by the Actes Trust board, work to complete the installation of brand-new LED floodlights at the Acklam Green Centre sports pitches has now been finished!

The work was completed by Musco Lighting on 5th November 2025.

Actes Trust Chair Geoff Payne said, “This upgrade compliments the recent pitch resurfacing completed in late 2023 - greatly enhancing our sports pitch facility and ensuring it’s fully equipped to serve the community.”

We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to The Football Foundation, The Premier League, The FA, DCMS and Musco Lighting for making this possible 🔆

📣 Yesterday, the Acklam Green Centre hosted the Middlesbrough Youth Mutual 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭, where representatives from 18 MYM partner organisations gathered for a powerful morning of connection, insight, and action - all focused on improving opportunities for local children & young people living in Middlesbrough. 🤝💬

𝐌𝐘𝐌 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩

On Thursday 2 October, as a lead partner on Middlesbrough Youth Mutual, we attended the latest MYM Alliance Gathering - themed around practical collaboration - at the Acklam Green Centre. Eighteen partner organisations came together for a powerful morning of connection, insight, and action, all focused on improving opportunities for children and young people in Middlesbrough. 💬🤝
