⚽️ GRASSROOTS SPORTS FUNDING MAKING A DIFFERENCE ⚽️

The Teesside Family Foundation is proud to have supported FC Teesside Hemlington through our Grassroots Sports Funding Programme.

Our funding helped provide 4 brand-new mini goals to support the introduction of the new Under 7s 3v3 format, giving young players the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence and love for the game in a fun and engaging environment.

Grassroots sport plays a vital role in bringing communities together, encouraging healthy lifestyles and creating opportunities for young people across Teesside.

We wish all the players, coaches and volunteers at FC Teesside Hemlington the very best for the future.

🏀 TTFF GRASSROOTS SPORTS FUNDING | MAKING A DIFFERENCE THROUGH SPORT 🏀

We are delighted to see the impact our Grassroots Sports Fund is having across Teesside and beyond.

Recently, The Teesside Family Foundation was proud to support Mohawks Wheelchair Basketball Club with funding for new team t-shirts for every player, coach and staff member attending the 2026 National Championship Finals.

The club shared the following message:

"These t-shirts are not only a uniform, but a memory for our players to look back on in years to come following such a successful season across the board. Thank you, Teesside Family Foundation. Mohawks could not do what we do without the backing of charities like yourselves."

With three National League teams and a Women's Premier League team competing at the National Finals, it is fantastic to know that every member of the Mohawks family will be proudly representing their club together.

At TTFF, we believe grassroots sport changes lives. It promotes inclusion, improves physical and mental wellbeing, builds confidence, creates friendships and gives people opportunities they may never otherwise have.

We would like to wish everyone at Mohawks the very best of luck at the National Championship Finals.

National Volunteers' Week | 1st–7th June

Today we celebrate the incredible people who make The Teesside Family Foundation possible.

For almost 10 years, our charity has been run by a team of dedicated volunteers who give their time, energy and passion to help others across our community.

From fundraising events and family support, to holiday breaks, specialist equipment, grassroots sport and Christmas projects, every achievement has been made possible through thousands of volunteer hours.

We are proud to be 100% volunteer led, with no paid staff and no core costs.

To every volunteer who has rolled up their sleeves and stood shoulder to shoulder with us over the last decade — thank you. Your dedication has helped change thousands of lives across Teesside.

£25,000 RAISED FOR TEESSIDE ❤️

An unforgettable night at the Hardwick Hall Hotel “Lobster Charity Ball” has raised an incredible £25,000 for the The Teesside Family Foundation.

A very special thank you to John Adamson, Helen and the incredible team at Hardwick Hall Hotel for giving our charity this amazing opportunity and for delivering such a fantastic evening from start to finish.

Thank you also to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered and supported the event. The generosity and support in the room was truly incredible.

As we head towards our 10th year, support like this allows us to continue changing lives across Teesside — helping local children, families, charities, community groups, hospices and hospitals when they need it most.
