So sad that little eight years old Kolpa is no longer with us. Well done to everyone who helped realise her dream of breaking the world record for birthday cards received. 300,000 cards is a huge number and our thanks also go to Rotarians David and Mindy who made the effort to support her appeal with our small contribution. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket in our Christmas Prize Draw.

The Children's Air Ambulance, Derbyshire Children's Holiday Home and TOC H Children's Summer Camp will benefit from the £2850 raised.

Huge thanks to everyone who helped to sell tickets - Sailability at Swarkestone, Excalibur Explorer Scouts, 124 Mickleover Scouts, 5th Mickleover All Saints Guides, 166 Mickleover Scouts, Derby Heights Care Home, Disability Snowdome, Derby Daybreak Rotary Club and all the members and friends of Derby South Rotary Club.

And we could not have done it without our prize sponsors - Church View Retreats - Donair Flying Club - Swarkestone Sailability - Tamworth Snowdome - Anoki Restaurants - The Nags Head, Mickleover - Morley Heyes Golf Club - The Great British car journey - TESCO, Mickleover.
