Men in Sheds Gorran and Mevagissey District Friday hearty breakfast; Ham and eggs / full english / eggs on toast / fruit and cereal / seasonal fish. Depends on the cook's mood!

Meeting on Friday mornings at the St Goran Playing Fields Hall PL26 6HR, or 24/7 in the container/shed - we are a none-agenda Gorran and Mevagissey based social group who meet to swap tools and plants, fix and renovate things and tell stories.

We are back decorating, en-masse in three shifts on Sunday 14th to build upon the sterling work by Chris Lobb and Richard Enos to complete the task for the village. Can you help us please? 0700 preparing; 0830 emulsion painting; 1230 clear away.

Paint, brushes, rollers are there, we just need you for an hour.

A good day today. Half the crew went to help at the new, Newquay Shed and half stayed at home for breakfast. The Newquay ‘Jolly Boys’ outing lived up to expectations and we were impressed by their industrial 3d printer! A re-visit is planned.

**Final call** — a couple of £5 spaces still left at the carboot / tabletop day on Gorran Haven car park tomorrow. 1000 start so be in place before 0930. A Catering van or stall would be very welcome as our reserved one has let us down! 🥘 🍱 🍲

Zoltan the Knife Sharpener is at our car boot/table top sale day this Sunday. Bring your knives, lawnmower blades, shears and cutlasses on the day, or leave with a label with any of the Men in Sheds guys. Zoltan’s price list is on his website.

**Men in Toilets” the sequel! At 3pm today (Friday 15th) we are painting the Gorran Haven toilet block. Can you help? We have paint, ladders, and ‘some’ rollers and trays. If you can’t do the physical stuff then tea, coffee, cake or beer(!) would be very welcome. Many hands = a couple of hours only. See you there? Thankyou.

Lightbulb moment! One of the stalls at our tabletop/carboot day on 24th carries a huge and varied accumulated selection of lightbulbs that you might need since the change from standard! Bring a sample or a specification if you’re missing one - and I’ll bet we have one for you.

There’s still car or table spaces available at £5 if you’d like to take one. Going to be a lovely day on Gorran Haven car park.
