In preparation for the Scout BBQ on Friday, a small Hut Maintenance Team started to clear the ‘ice rink’ at the back of the Hut. This is going to be used as the Nerf Arena and Tin Can Alley. Phil also cleared the gutters around the hut which was badly needing done. A couple of hours work has made a huge difference.

If you can spare any occasional time the Team would love your help for future maintenance. You don’t need to be professional just a good pair of hands. Back again on Thursday at 6.30 if you are free !

We're delighted to be bringing back our Scout Group BBQ - join us for a relaxed evening with great food, fun activities and the opportunity to catch up with other Scout families. This year we're also hoping to welcome friends, neighbours and members of our local community, making it an even bigger and better event.

Squirrels finished off the year with a nature hike at Haddo House & Country Park, walking from the Craigies Wood car park to the main car park. We found nearly everything on our scavenger list, but didn't find any... squirrels!
We ended with a Chief Scout's Acorn Award presentation.
Well done everyone and enjoy the holidays!

🎳 Scouts Bowling Night! 🎳

Our Scouts finished the term lastnight with a fun evening at Garioch 10 Pin Bowling in Inverurie, where patrols battled it out for top spot. 🏆

There were strikes, gutter balls, plenty of laughs, and great team spirit throughout the night. It was great to see the Scouts enjoying themselves and having so much fun.
Thanks to Garioch 10 Pin Bowling for hosting us, and well done to all our Scouts, especially our winning patrol! 👏

We hope everyone has a great Summer break and we look forward to seeing you next term for more adventures! ⚜️

It's been a time for celebration at Scouts! 🎉

Lastnight, we had the honour of presenting a very special award – the Chief Scout's Gold Award, the highest achievement a Scout can earn in the Scouting programme.
A huge congratulations on this fantastic achievement. Your hard work, commitment, and dedication to Scouting has truly paid off, and you should be incredibly proud. 🌟⚜️

We have also been delighted to welcome four new Scouts into the Troop over the past week!
Last week at the Scout Hut, we invested two new Scouts, and at our Bowling Night at Garioch Bowling in Inverurie, we proudly invested another two Scouts.
It's always a special moment to see young people make their Scout Promise and officially become part of our Scout family. We hope you all enjoy the adventures, challenges, and friendships that Scouting has to offer.
Please join us in congratulating our Chief Scout's Gold Award recipient and giving our four newest Scouts a very warm welcome. We wish you all every success on your Scouting journey! 💚
