Tonight the cadets carried on with their continuity drill and it looked really good! We also completed some more mop up First Class training.

We also awarded blue leadership badges to CDT Vaibhav and CDT Walker and Cadet of the Month for May to CDT Vaibhav. Well done both 👏

Last Wednesday we done some 1st Class Training mop up sessions and the senior cadets started some continuity drill.

This week is volunteers week and we would like to give a shout out to our amazing staff volunteers who give up their time in the evenings and weekends to make sure our cadets get the most out of the RAF Air Cadets!

Today the cadets attended Inter Squadron athletics at Leckwith Stadium Cardiff. They all had a fantastic day and we even came away with some medals!

🥇CPL A Kuczynski came 1st place in under 16 boys 100m
🥇SGT V Daca, CPL A Kucynski, CPL O Morgan and CDT J Thind came 1st in under 16 boys relay
🥉We came 3rd overall in the under 16 boys category

Tonight our OiC attended the High Sheriff of Mid Glamorgan Youth Awards Ceremony to celebrate the achievements and accomplishments of the youth of Rhondda Cynon Taff, Bridgend and Merthyr counties. He was joined by our CWO Holly Thomas, CFS Ellie Kiff of 254 (Aberdare) Sqn and CSgt Phoebe Evans of 1092 (Bridgend) Sqn. All three cadets received commendations for their outstanding contributions to their respective Squadrons and communities. We congratulate all three of you on your successes.
