On Wednesday 15th April we are delighted to welcome as our speaker Tim Jennings, RHS award winning landscape and garden designer based in Cambridgeshire.

The title of Tim's talk is "Designing Gardens That Feel Rooted in Nature" Tim works all across East Anglia, creating naturalistic and wildlife friendly gardens with a strong architectural structure.

Venue: Field Dalling Villagers’ Hall, 84 Holt Road, Field Dalling, Norfolk, NR25 7LE

Time: 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

Talks are preceded by a glass of wine, soft drinks and canapes.

In this talk Tim takes a look at some of the newer plant introductions and their place in the garden. Our next event will be on Wednesday 1st October where we welcome bulb expert Johnny Walkers of Walkers Bulbs, holder of an amazing 29 Gold Medals at Chelsea. Johnny is a leading expert on bulbs and his talk The A-Z of bulbs is sure to be popular, especially as Johnny will be bringing along a selection of bulbs for members and their guests to purchase. Looking forward to our Autumn programme which begins on Wednesday 10th September with an illustrated talk by Dr Gwenda Kydd, chemist and writer with a passion for plants. In her talk "Twelve Tremendous Trees" Gwenda will examine why trees have proved so important to us as a source of materials food and medicinal compounds. Gwenda will also consider the history of and the science behind these uses. She will also look at some of the folklore we've attached to trees and what they mean to us
