It’s truly heartbreaking to see the UK Woodland Masters close its doors, it was such a cornerstone of the Woodland paintball scene in the UK. Its closure leaves a significant gap, especially since the options for competitive Woodland paintball are now limited, with the European Classic Paintball League 10-Man being the only remaining event for this type of play (which we thank them for).
However, the passion for Classic Woodland paintball still burns bright for many with efforts being made to preserve the spirit of the sport in the UK. Next Wednesday (19th February) at 8:00pm there will be a Zoom chat to connect like minded teams and start brainstorming ideas to possibly revitalise the scene. It’s an opportunity to bring the community together, share ideas, and potentially lay the groundwork for new events.
We hope as many team representatives (1 per team please) will be able to make it as possible and to see if we can hopefully put us back on the right path where the amazing UKWM left off.
