We are a friendly bunch of people who meet monthly to sew quilts that are then gifted to young people between the ages of 18 - 25 as they move into their own accommodation on leaving the care of the Local Authority.

It’s been a while since we posted on here but we have been busy making quilts for care experienced young people.

We had a very successful day on 20th November at a Care Leavers event hosted by Kirklees services as part of Care Leavers Month. Nine local authorities were in attendance with care leavers. Maggie Lloyd-Jones the founder of Q4CLs was with us as were a display of 80 quilts of which 38 were chosen by attendees along with 38 MorsBags.

We continue to meet the first Friday of the month in Meltham Parish Hall from 10.00 to 3.00 pm but anyone is welcome to come for the time that suits, including just popping in to say hello.Suggested donations £10 all day, £5 part day - so we can pay the rent.
