Are you under 30* and can edit content in your sleep? Paid freelance position! We're looking for a Social Media Production Assistant to join the Bloom Media team at Borders Book Festival this June. See comments for where to apply.

Editing is at the heart of this role. You'll be turning around authentic content, for a real audience, at speed, across five days of live festival programming.

Alongside that, you'll be working with a group of young people as part of a professional team. You'll be helping them tell their festival stories on camera.

This is not work experience. It's a paid, professional role designed to give an emerging content creator a platform, portfolio and access to an environment that might otherwise take years to reach. Plus you'll receive lots of learning opportunities and support from our highly experienced team.

You don't need a long CV. You just need to know your way around short-form editing apps, work well with people, and be ready to go.

Β£625 fee. Five days. Closing date Sunday 3 May.

Apply now! Link in bio for the full role description.

We've been out and about chatting to young people about what arts and culture means to them, why creative activities matter, and their thoughts on possible venue closures.

This is our valuable contribution to the Borders and Scottish Borders Council consultations. It's important our voices are heard, as is our right under the UNCRC, the United Nations agreement that protects the rights of all children and young people, including the right to have a say in decisions that affect them.
