A reminder that on Friday 17th April at the Seend Centre our Branch annual lecture is an updated talk by Air Chief Marshal Sir John Cheshire KBE CB on "What makes Putin Tick" taking into account events in Ukraine.
We are also holding a silent auction for a fantastic bronze sculpture, sculptured in cold cast bronze by the late Peter Hicks a former branch member for the village of Seend to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth.
Join us for what will be a fantastic and informative evening.

This year our Branch annual lecture is an updated talk by Air Chief Marshal Sir John Cheshire KBE CB on "What makes Putin Tick" taking into account events in Ukraine.

Following the devastation of the recent storms this WW2 D-Day rehearsal (Ex Tiger) site and much loved tourist destination had its vital A379 link road destroyed along with local properties and businesses. So pleased to see the work done my the local MP Caroline Voaden and petition of over 100,000 votes enabling her to take this to PM’s questions to secure £10M funding to have the area repaired.

RBL Wiltshire hosted this years South West Regional Standard Bearers Competition at Corsham
A great day of competition was had
Our congratulations go to Pete Pullin Hampshire on winning the Men's and Wiltshires own Amanda Bearryman on winning the Ladies (Women’s Section) competition. Best of wishes to you both at the Nationals later in the year in Brighton. A special mention to Amelie Neal for an excellent performance to win the youth section for Hampshire.
Another special mention to Peter Hall of Melksham Branch. This was Peter's first time at a regional having become the newly appointed County Standard Bearer. Well done Peter a first time Experience for you at this level of competion. You did yourself, family, branch and county proud.
A massive well done to all Standard Bearers who took part.
Another special mention in dispatches to the Ladies of Warminster branch for laying on such lovely food following the competition, Tracey Butt and Melissa Butt for their adjudication duties and finally our County Parade Marshall Colin Wilkinson who ensured the smooth running and organisation of the days events
