On a beautiful late summers day we enjoyed afternoon tea in the Presidents garden … friendship, good food and banter made for a perfect afternoon

Autumnal flowers were demonstrated at our September meeting wowing the audience … and even better Rachael donated the finished displays as raffle prizes

On Monday we escaped South Derbyshire and headed for the bright lights of London. A fab tour of the Houses of Parliament where our MP Samantha Niblett met with us before we taxied over to Covent Garden for much needed refreshment!

Yesterday we hosted our annual Sunday Lunch. 60 members and guests enjoyed good food, good company and laughter in the beautiful setting of Ticknall Village Hall

Great time was had by all … hot pork cobs with all the trimmings, crudités, nibbles, dips, crisps, sandwiches, trifle, cake and mince pies … hamper raffle, Secret Santa and a Christmassy themed quiz … what’s not to like!
