One Big Family - Helping the Homeless

Due to the number of people who have already signed up to the training (thank you all so much) we have added an extra training date on November 26th .. if volunteering at a Homeless Winter Night Shelter is something you have considered doing then please come along, see what we do and how you can help!
There are no overnight shifts - we are looking for people either 7 - 11pm or 7 - 8.30am

Christmas is fast approaching... this year we are asking for the items to create Christmas parcels for people in our accommodation and the Winter shelter... please get in touch for more information

And after a few hours rest we had the soup kitchen - it was a lovely evening (thankfully no rain!!)
101 people came.
Lots of bedding was distributed to rough sleepers who had ended up soaking the night before , many of them now asking abouts the night shelter and when we will be opening...

Thank you to the volunteers/cooks who made it happen - lots of us very weary from the weekend events but we still made it happen
