This month's Bereavement Cafe takes place at Rotherfield (Rotherfield St Martin ) with our two volunteers Sue and Sue!

Our Cafes are a safe space to come together and be with others going through a loss.

No pre-booking required, but if you would like more information, please do contact us. Transport can be provided if needed.

MAYFACS Friday Matinee Films are back! The new season programmes are available from today around the village, and from the Mayfacs office so please grab yours and plan your dates!

Our first film starts on Friday 25th September with The Colour Room. Everyone is welcome to our Films, it is an opportunity to come together, watch a new or a classic film, make new friends, bring old friends, or sit in companionable silence and enjoy!

Transport is available from Mayfield to Five Ashes if required.

The first jars of Mayfacs Honey have arrived and with more to follow, please stock up quickly from either MAYFACS office at London House, or down at Mayfacs Community Shed .

£5 small jar or £9 for a large jar - made with love from our very own Bees at Mayfacs Community Shed !

And if you have any surplus produce grown from your gardens or allotments, and don't know where to take it to - please bring it to the MAYFACS office (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesdays) and we will place it on our Produce Table for other local people to enjoy. This is a way to prevent excess waste, and for our community to share freshly, home grown produce!

Next week, we welcome back the musicians from Movingsounds to join us for an afternoon of music and movement at on Wednesday 26th August.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this intergenerational activity, as we explore new sounds together. Bring your grandchildren, grandparents, neighbours, carers, friends and family along!

This month, we are saying farewell to our lovely Gill, who has been part of our team for the past 2 years and a huge part of our development during this time. Gill has a very exciting new opportunity ahead of her, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter!

Which means, that MAYFACS are recruiting! We are looking for a competent Finance Officer to join our team at MAYFACS to carry out our core bookkeeping and help shape our financial future as we continue to grow as a charity.
