Thank you everyone who battled the weather last night and came to the annual Ross Roy Quiz.

Teams from Dundonald Burns Club, Irvine Burns Club, Irvine Lasses, New Cumnock Burns Club and Poosie Nancy's Burns Club all competed.

After eight tough rounds, Poosie Nancy's Burns Club were declared the winners with Lesley Richardson and Angus Middleton.

A night with fun and hilarity finished off with a poem from Jimmy Law. Thank you Bob Stewart and William Dick for helping to organise.

Following a successful Annual General Meeting last night, we are delighted to announce the appointment of John Hannah as our new President.
Joining him on the Executive team:

William Dick steps into the role of Senior Vice President
Bob Stewart becomes our new Secretary
Annie Small continues her excellent work as Treasurer
Beth Kerr, our dedicated Schools Convener, also continues in her role

We extend our warmest congratulations to the entire Executive and wish them every success in the year ahead!

This years Ayrshire Association of Burns Club Annual Quiz was held in Mauchline.
This years quiz was a close fought fight with the AABC Team (Jimmy Law and John Hannah) coming out on top. The runners up were the other AABC Team (Willie Dick and Annie Small).
It was an excellent night and thanks once again to Angus Middleton for organising the event.

A warm invitation to all. Our next quarterly AABC meeting will be held on Thursday 13th February 7.30 in RBWF building John Dickie Street Kilmarnock. There is plenty of free parking at the building. I look forward to seeing you all there for lots of great craic sangs n clatter. X
