Peak District National Park are consulting on the Active Travel Plan to improve access for walking, cycling, disabled users, and horse riders.

Please complete the survey to advocate for equestrian access on active travel routes which are often vital links between one bridleway and the next and may avoid some road riding.
The more equestrians who respond, the stronger the case is for inclusion of horses.

Little Eaton Greenway Development Update and Community Engagement Event – 4th December 2024

Planning permission was granted on 18th October 2024 to transform the former railway line between Duffield Road Little Eaton and Rawson Green Kilburn, and create a surfaced multi user trail for walking, wheeling, cycling and horse riding.

Contractors have been engaged and it is anticipated that works will commence early in the New Year.

Derbyshire County Council are holding a pre-start engagement event on Wednesday 4th December and would like to invite you to drop in at the OAP Hall on Barley Close in Little Eaton between the hours of 12.30pm and 7pm to learn more about the development and find out what to expect.

Project engineers will be on hand to answer queries and discuss the scheme.

Anyone with an interest in this scheme is welcome and so please do share the attached poster with others where appropriate, and encourage them to go along.
