Pet of the Week: Jake & Fynn are 12.5-year old male domestic short hair cats. They are a bonded pair of love bugs who want nothing more than to spend their golden years together in a loving home. These sweet boys are looking for a family who will give them the love, comfort, and companionship they deserve.

Jake & Fynn are up to date on all shots and microchipped. Their adoption fee is $35.

Yes. The kittens fly out the doors on Clear the Shelter events, but the seniors usually get left behind. 😢😢

(Food for thought, how many of those kittens will come back as seniors, when they outlive their owners?)

Goodness gracious! We stopped by Clarke County Humane Foundation and these HUGE and healthy lovebugs were just crying out for attention... And a foster, please! Or better yet, a permanent home! 🙏

Gentle giants Jake and Finn lost their first home due to an overseas move, and were adopted fairly quickly. Two months later however, these 13 year olds are back, due to the new adopter's allergies.

We strongly advise meeting these two absolute hunks!!

Who says you can't teach an old cat new tricks? Well, technically not true, because we had nothing to do with it!

21 year old Boots figured out the cat door by himself! When there is a will, there is a way. Gotta get that morning vitamin D. 🤷

We are preparing to host a fundraiser book sale to help raise money for our full group of rescue cats! The date is still TBD, but we expect it to be early October.

In order to make it a success, we NEED your help! We are accepting any donation of new and gently used books that we can sell in our book sale to raise money for the massive day-to-day expenses of caring for 20 rescue cats! 

You can drop donations off any time we are open - there is a box in our lobby! Please help us make this book sale a massive success! ✨️
