We are delighted to announce that applications are now open for places at our new school based nursery, opening in September 2026!
If you’re looking for a warm, caring and nurturing start to your child’s education, in a setting where they will truly thrive we are now accepting applications for children aged three and over (you can also register interest for younger children).
At Darley Dale Primary School, outdoor learning is at the heart of what we do. Our exceptional grounds and well established Forest School provision help children develop confidence, independence, problem solving and resilience.
Our latest OFSTED report (January 2025) said:
“Darley Dale Primary School is a caring and inclusive school where everyone is welcomed. Pupils thrive in a supportive and aspirational environment. The school has high ambitions for pupils’ achievements, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).”
Our new teacher led nursery sits within our wonderful school grounds and is currently being fully refurbished. We would be very happy to show you around.
